Intel will release a microcode patch that will block the CPU overclocking capabilities of non-Z87 motherboards. This is in response to motherboard manufacturers, who have offered unofficial overclocking support for unlocked 4th generation Intel Core processors on their H87, B85 and H81 boards.![]()
